Tahini and Chili Palmiers


½ cup Castella Tahini
1 red chili, seeded and finely chopped
½ tsp Castella Paprika
2 sheets ready-rolled frozen puff pastry, defrosted


  1. Preheat the oven to 400° F
  2. Combine the tahini, chili and paprika. Spread half the mixture over each pastry to the edges.  Fold the pastry from opposite sides until the folds meet in the middle. Fold one side over the other to resemble a closed book. Refrigerate for 5minutes to firm.
  3. Cut into half inch slices and place on baking trays lined with baking paper, leaving room for spreading.
  4. Bake for 8 minutes, then turn over and bake for 2 minutes, or until golden brown.
